Country Thanksgiving 08

The scarecrow rests in the shade of the pumpkins last grin before fall gives way to tinsel and lights.
A doe gets a peaceful drink at the pond. Tomorrow is opening day of hunting season.

A hearty meal of tradition to share with family and reflect on the blessings we hold.

We gave thanks for memories of the past, the warmth of the present, and for the brightness and hope of the future. It was wonderful to have Jimmy and Tyler visit from Norcross.

Awwh! Thanksgiving looks great! I'm so sad we missed it...tell Grandma I missed her dressing and pears with cheese. I love those things. Ya'll look great! And where did you put your scarecrow display? I can't figure out where it is.

The scarecrow was at Nora Mill in Helen.
